Our Company History

Precision Pools & Spas has a rich history dating back to 1997 when it was founded by Doug Heer, an experienced pool professional with a background in mechanical engineering. Doug’s unique expertise and vision set Precision Pools & Spas apart from other pool companies in the area. With the help of our Project Manager, a civil engineer himself, the company was established and began to offer exceptional pool construction and maintenance services to customers throughout Utah.

At Precision Pools & Spas, we place a strong emphasis on education and professional development. Many members of our team are graduates of Watershape University, the leading educational institution for all things related to pools and spas. We host regular training sessions with our employees to ensure everyone is up to date on the latest industry developments.

25 Years Of Industry Experience

Over the years, Precision Pools & Spas has grown into a thriving enterprise that operates across Utah and the surrounding states. Despite our expansion, we remain committed to providing the highest levels of service and expertise to our clients. We have two retail stores located in Sandy and Salt Lake City, where customers can find everything they need to keep their pools in top condition.

We have an array of accreditations and accolades under our belt, including the prestigious Tiffany Award, as well as CPO and BBB certifications. Additionally, we take great pride in being the only pool company in Utah that is a member of the Master Pools Guild, a global network of pool contractors known for their excellence in the industry.

At Precision Pools, we remain a family-run business at heart, with a strong commitment to serving our customers’ best interests. We’ve recently expanded our range of services and expertise by acquiring Pools n Patios, a local repair, maintenance, and supply store.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we look forward to continuing to serve pool owners throughout Utah with our exceptional pool construction, maintenance, and repair services.
